A Magellanic penguin takes a stroll away from his colony in Punta Tumbo, along Argentina’s Patagonic coastline. A total of 200,000 penguins come here to breed every spring, making this area one of the largest penguin colonies in the world.
Due to overfishing and oil spills these penguins are considered ‘near threatened’ by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
