Young people enjoy the party in Buenos Aires’ Plaza San Martín to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday after the annual Buenos Aires’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The mixed crowd of locals and foreigners was friendly, the sounds of bagpipes and a U2 cover bands filled the air and revelers formed long lines to purchase Irish coffee.

With the world’s fifth largest population of Irish descendants outside Ireland, Argentina celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with more fervor than anywhere else in South America.
