Accommodation in Cachi: Best Places for All Budgets

Share on:

Cachi offers a picturesque colonial-style main plaza, surrounded by traditional adobe houses, a view of the snow-capped Nevado de Cachi, great wine and a tranquil atmosphere.

What more could you want?

Despite its beauty and attractions, Cachi is not as well-known or as much of an overnight stop as some other destinations, such as Cafayate.

That makes the 2,000-person pueblo more attractive for an overnight stay.

Cachi is an authentic Northwestern Argentina town and several modest restaurants here offer home-cooked traditional foods of the area, such as tamales, humita and empanadas.

During peak tourist seasons, such as the summer months of December to February, and around holidays, more visitors may choose to spend the night in Cachi.

San José de Cachi Church

Outside high season this is generally a quiet and peaceful place to stay, offering a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of larger cities.

Cachi offers a range of accommodation options, including quaint guesthouses, charming boutique hotels, and traditional estancias (ranches).

These accommodations often provide a cozy and authentic experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and enjoy the mysterious desert beauty of the surrounding area.
